I finally saw Angels & Demons. I've been wanting to watch it ever since I found out Ewan had a role in the movie. I waited for this movie so long it frustrated me I didn't had the chance to watch it before. Anyway, I read the book first and I already knew what happened but I was still surprised. I simply loved the movie. My friend Randy fell asleep like in the half of the movie and I barely felt the time. For me, it was entertaining from the beginning to end. And seeing Ewan again on the theater was a huge reminder of how much I love him :D he's my favorite actor and there's no doubt about it :D

After giving it a LOT of thinking, I decided to stop blogging here and star a brand new site with a domain name and stuff. I want it to be CHESTERDEAN.NET. It's going to be pretty much like this one, but more organized and with way more sections, it will also be prettier hehe!. And it's gonna have a gallery, and I'll update it more. I will also make personal posts, and stuff about me. I'll try to get more affiliates and make it bigger than this small blog. I want more people to visit it, be more active and stuff. I have so many ideas I can't wait to start. I'll let you know when the site's done :D

I'm SO excited! My favorite Mexican band is back in town and I got my ticket today yaaaaay! I'm gonna see them live this Saturday. The ticket was really cheap, and other two good bands come along, Zoe (seen them live already) and Jaguares, I've never seen Jaguares live, so it's going to be interesting. I've seen Fobia live once, like two years ago and it was one of the best concerts I've ever been (specially 'cause Leo held my hand while he was singing hoho) and I was front row in it was overally good. Zoe is great too, they sound awesome live. I'm so excited I can't wait.

I had to use that quote for my title, it's a quote by Danny (Josh Hartnett) on Pearl Harbor. Well, I just realized I never really talk about my old fandoms, and I think it is because I take for granted that everybody knows about it or that they're not new to me and I don't feel like I have to brag about how cool it was to find their work. Well, I think it's time for me to talk about Josh Hartnett, one of my longest and constant fandoms. On December 22, it's going to be the 8th anniversary of me finding HIM. It all started when I rented Pearl Harbor and watched it after my cousin's birthday party, someone had already spoiled the end of the movie to me, so I spent every single sweet moment of Danny CRYING!. I own the movie on VHS, picture that!

I put behind my fear for Michael Myers to see him in H20 and did something similar a couple of days ago, I'm a crying baby and everything scares me, so I try to keep myself from horror movies... well, my friend Julio told me about 30 Days of Night and I really liked the idea of the movie (I obviously already knew about the movie but didn't know what happened in it), but I was seriously thinking in how paranoid I was going to end up after watching it. I didn't care in the end and watched it and LOVED IT. Yes, I ended up all paranoid, but I don't care. I, once again, knew the ending so the whole Pearl Harbor memory came to my mind hahaha.

Right now I'm watching Lucky Number Slevin on TV (and is ironical 'cause I actually own the DVD). And later tonight I'll watch Resurrecting the Champ. There are only a couple of movies of him I haven't seen, some really old ones and some new ones. So, like every good fan, I'm just trying to catch up on his movies... they're not that many anyway. I think the only ones I didn't really like were Sin City (bored me to death) and Virgins Suicide (suuuucked) other than that, I think I've liked the rest :D

And that's it, I just wanted to let everyone know that I simply adore Joshua Daniel Hartnett more than anyone would have guessed. I seriously don't know why I never talk about him when I actually do visit his fansites and keep myself updated on what he's doing. I should talk about him more often, and I probably will.

I've watched this trailer for like tenth times already and I just can't get over of seeing Robert Downey Jr working with Jude Law, they're both freaking awesome!. And the movie seems to be serious but also pretty humorous and I've always loved that from RDJ's movies. He can be a serious actor but he just can't deny he is FUNNY!. Now I can't wait to watch the movie, I just know I'm gonna love it.

Today I saw him on Miss Potter and I'm just still in love with him *lol* and even though RDJ won't take his place, I think they are both my favorite actor, I can't choose one over the other anymore. They're both awesome, and I just adore Ewan to forget him so easily. I wish I could find more of his movies, but I'm just glad now I own one more them.

Today is Kurt Cobain's 15th death anniversary. I was really really young when he died, I was only 8 years old (about to turn 9) but I do remember how shocked the world was when they found out about his death on April 5th. Everyone talked about it, my older cousins were devastated because they were fans of the band. I just couldn't realize why it was so important, until I grew up and re-discovered the band by myself. Today I know what a great loss it was. I'm part of the few people that truly believes that Kurt Cobain was murdered and did not commit suicide, but I guess the fact that he "killed" himself is what made him the legend he is now, everyone loves a martyr, isn't it? Everyone just wanted to believe he killed himself because he was becoming something he hated, because of fame or whatever, but the truth was, that he had a little kid, and a whole life ahead, he had no reasons to die, but there were many reasons why someone would want him killed (Courtney had MAAAAAAAAAAAANY). But murdered or not, he's not here anymore and that's what matters, he made a change and left and we're gonna always remember who Kurt Cobain was.

So, my obsession with Robert Downey Jr. is almost a year old, it's actually... 11 months old, and no one thought it would last this long and still so strong. I adore that man, I simply adore him. I haven't had the time to watch his movies lately, I haven't had the time to do literally nothing lately. But I just remembered I already have Two Girls And A Guy and haven't watched it yet. I was sad 'cause I had no movies left of him to watch, glad to see I do and I will watch it first time tomorrow. I also have to go to my fave record store to get some of his movies, I haven't watched one in like a month or two, and that's just TOO much, I need more of his movies. I read The Soloist is going to be premiered this month in the US, I hope it's also premiered in Mexico 'cause I've been waiting for that movie quite a long time hehe.

MARLON BRANDO
My obsession with this incredible actor began after watching The Godfather. It wasn't long ago, but now I adore him. I already own DVD's and a book about him. And even though I haven't seen that many of his movies (I think I've only seen.... two haha) I do really like him and I'm desperate to watch more of his movies.
One of my favorite jokes at school, is that every time my best mate and I are pretending to be sad or dramatical we shout "STELLAAAAA" hahaha.
I personally can't wait to see The Wild One and Last Tango In Paris (I've already read the book, which have pictures of it hehe). I don't know, I just simply adored him even if I haven't been able to see more of his films. I saw and taped a biography called Brando, that one made the obsession bigger than in the beggining. He was extremely good looking and had such a beautiful smile :D

AARON ECKHART
Who can say that his role as Harvey Dent wasn't adorable? I just fell in love with that man. After The Dark Knight I had the urge to watch more of his movies so I bought No Reservations, which is the movie I've liked him best... his hair was longer and had the shadow of a beard in his face, and was just too freaking adorable for me. I've seen movies like Paycheck, Meet Bill and Black Dhalia, I've also seen a bit of Nurse Betty. I can't wait to see Thank You For Smoking and Towelhead.
I just loved everything about him. His hair, his eyes, that beautiful perfect smile and his manly voice. Also, his shyness in interviews is adoooorable.
The phrase "I Believe In Harvey Dent" was a constant nickname on my msn, and I also own a pencils box of TDK just because of him (and the Joker of course). I just fell hard for him hehe.

BRANDON ROUTH
It is well known that I'm a Superman obsessed, well... my love for Superman was born after watching Superman Returns and because I simply fell for Brandon, until this day, I haven't seen any of his movies more than bits of a TV show he did and his cameo in What A Girl Wants of Christina Aguilera, but I adore him and I've watched Superman Returns more times that I can count, I literally know all of his lines in the movie and like to quote him in my every day life hehe and I simply can't wait for The Man of Steel. I seriously think he was a GREAT choice for Superman, I hate Tom Welling and every person that has had the guts to play this superhero, for me... there wasn't anyone else but Chris Reeve, until I saw Brandon, he was PERFECT for that role. I'm still trying to get his movies like Lie To Me and such but it's been impossible :( ahhh but I love him no matter what hehe.

NOAH WYLE
Noah has been one of my longest crushes. I've liked him for like 9 years and used to watch ER on prime time or the re-runs. I think I've seen all of his ER Episodes. I even recorded Friends' episode in which he appears with George Clooney, I just adore him.
I've seen some of his movies like White Oleander, Enough and The Librarian. But there was nothing as my obsession with Dr. John Truman Carter III, I used to watch and tape ER's episodes, visit the very few fansites dedicated to him AND his character, I knew like every single fact about him AND Carter. I also used to role play on a yahoo community and was so cool. Abbey Lockhart had to marry Luka Kovac for me to stop hating her hahaha I was/am just obsessed with that show. I remember I cried like a baby every time he cried, I smiled like an idiot every time he did, and swoon every time he was shirtless on the screen hahaha. It was awesome, I loved every minute of this fandom and I miss it so much.
I'm trying to get more of his movies and all ER Seasons he was in :D wish me luck with that hehe!

JOSH HARTNETT
Back in the good ol' teenage years, I had a huge obsession with Josh. It all began when I saw Pearl Harbor back in 2001 and I've liked him ever since. I've seen as many of his movies as I've could. My favorites would be Pearl Harbor and Wicker Park (which I own... both). I even had to put my fear for Michael Myers behind to see him in Halloween H20 that's how much I love him.
I even made a yahoo group about him back then, I loved visiting fansites and learning about him. Now it's not that constant, but I'm always aware of what he's doing and try to visit his fansites as often as possible.
He's simply adorable and I love his smile and how his eyes literally get lost when he's smiling. He has a boy-ish face for that thick voice of him. I don't know, I simply adore him and is very special to me. I remember someone spoiled Pearl Harbor for me and I already knew what happened, so every time Danny did something cute I'd start crying because I knew what was going to happen to him haha.

KEANU REEVES
Keanu has a really long career, so he's one of those actors I've known for all of my life. But my love (or obsession heh) for him started in 2004 when I met a guy that kinda looked like him. I started watching and re-watching his movies. I saw all the Matrix movies in the theater and ever since, I try to watch his movies in the theater. I remember I waited for Constantine for a long long time and when it was released I went crazy and simply loved it. Every time lit a cigarette I'd say "Constantine, Chester Constantine asshole" haha.
I'm obsessed with The Lake House and I've seen it like a million of times, the same with Sweet November, those movies aren't good for corny people like myself. And I've seen as many of his movies as I could, then again... he has TOO MANY movies. One of my favorite movies when I was growing up was Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, who would have said I was going to love this man a decade after? hehe. Not long ago, I saw The Day The Earth Stood Still and even though I didn't really like the movie I adored him in it, he's simply AWESOME. I used to have like a million of pictures of him on my computer (and they should be backed up somewhere) and I used to visit his fansites like crazy, but it's not that constant anymore. Now I'm only on LJ communties and they keep me updated.

JOHNNY DEPP
He's simply freaking Johnny Depp, I don't think I have to explain WHY I like him, do I?. I think he's an awesome actor and one of the bests of his generation. Edward Scissorhands was one of my favorite movies when I was growing up (even though it kind of scared me too) and I feel I've known about him and liked him for all of my life hehe. I can't say I'm a FAN because I don't really know much about him, nor I visit his fansites, but I know that I do admire him and would watch his movies if I find them for rent, or wait for the new ones to watch them on the theater.
The movie that got me hooked was The Secret Window, it was simply awesome and Johnny was like always great. He can play ANY character he wants, he can make you laugh as a pirate or creep you out as an evil barber. He's also extremely good looking and very sexy hehe. I just saw A Nightmare on Elm Street and he was so young there it made me laugh. I still need to watch LOTS of his movies, but I've also seen a LOT of his movies. Oh he's also a quite talented singer, and Sweeney Todd's soundtrack is constantly played on my computer. I can't wait for The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, I think it will be interesting for me to watch since it's Heath Ledger's last movie but I'm glad Johnny is part of it, I bet he's going to do a great work.

GENE KELLY
Well, he's a brand new crush and I've only liked him for a month, but I know it will last longer. I've also only seen three of his movies, Anchors Aweigh, American in Paris and the one featured in the layout Singing in the Rain. He's got like every talent out there, he could act, sing and dance and he did every one of them very graciously. He had a charming smile that could melt every single heart, at least his smile enchanted me.
Something I really liked about him, is that it didn't matter the movie I was watching, he always seemed like a very happy person, and the videos and pictures I've seen just confirm it, he was always with a smile and just looked like a really nice guy. I personally love his voice, I'm obsessed with his songs. Right now I can't wait to find more of his movies 'cause I do think he was awesome in everything he did. He makes tap-dancing look easy. The way he danced, how he was always smiling made it look easy, like he didn't even had to make any kind of effort to move the way he did. I don't know, I just fell in love with him hehe!.

ROBERT PATTINSON
I've liked him ever since The Goblet of Fire, I did really like him and watched that movie a million of times just for him. I felt it was time for the Harry Potter crew to finally have someone that was actually GOOD LOOKING hehe. Anyway, I was super excited when I read he was going to be in a new movie about vampires called Twilight, then I found out it was from a book so I read the books ONLY because he was in my mind. I didn't really like the books but picturing him as Edward made it at least enjoyable.
Now I'm literally SICK of all the Twilight fuss, I personally loved him in The Bad Mother's Handbook more than I did in Twilight. I can't see why so many people went nuts with those movies/books. Anyway, now I kind of feel embarrassed to say I like HIM 'cause people would immediately think I like the Twilight crap when I don't really. I can't wait to see Little Ashes and How To Be, his character Art looks like someone I'd like hehe more than Edward, so I simply can't wait.
He also seems like such a normal kid, his interviews became an obsession to me... I loved reading them, I loved his answers and how honest he was. Also his sarcasm and sense of humor made me love him more. I just wish people's craziness won't change him 'cause I can really see a future in his acting.

There's no other men man enough to be another...

That's right, there's no other men, man enough to be another JAMES DEAN!!! (that's actually a lyric from a song by Hilary Duff, puagh... the only song I like of her just because it's about Jimmy hehe). Anyway, ever since my post of favorite actors James Dean has been around in my head. I've been watching and downloading a lot of his videos, specially a documentary called "The James Dean Story" which was kind of heartbreaking. For some reason, everything related to this man kind of saddens me. He was a really messed up kid and wasn't really happy, when he was finally finding himself he died *cries*.

I mean, when you're in your early 20's you're still kind of confused with yourself, at least I still am, right now I'm kind of finally finding a balance in my life and I think we all go through that, now I'm 23 just a year younger than him and I still feel like I have a LOT of things to do, things he didn't have a chance to enjoy. It saddens me even though I never met him and I've only liked him for a couple of years, but he had that innoscent look on his face that simply makes you love him and that same look on his face makes you feel like crap because he died so young and not so very happy.

I kind of feel related to him in a way, and the documentary just confirmed what I've said. He said he wanted people around him but kept pushing them away, I do that ALL the time and still ignore why. He avoided people and never let them see the real James Dean, he was afraid of something, so am I. For some reason, it frustrates me more than it should to know these things, all of my life I've been wanting to know someone that felt the same way as I do so I'd stop being so "weird" and "different" but every time I do, that other person has been dead for a long time.

I think he was a great actor, that he still had a lot to give to his audience and Eden, Rebel and Giant were only little proves of what he was able to do. He was only 24, he missed a lifetime of experiences to become in an even BETTER actor.... what a freakin' shame. He also wanted to be a director, with the imagination he had, I bet he'd have directed awesome films. He also liked to write and wanted to write. He'd have done a LOT of things. He was simply TOO FREAKIN' YOUNG!.

It's just a shame the world lost someone as big as him.

Apparently, on a fight scene my Robbie got the real thing from that HUGE guy.

The incident occurred in November in London, England, during shooting of a scene for Robert Downey Jr.'s latest movie Sherlock Holmes. Maillet whose film debut was in the epic movie 300, released in 2007, didn't intend to strike the actor on the chin but did so in a fight scene.

Downey was supposed to block the blow but there was a miscue in the choreographed fight scene.

"It wasn't supposed to connect," said Maillet.

And while Downey was bloodied by the blow, he wasn't knocked out as reported in the tabloids.

"I was there," Maillet said in an interview from his home this weekend.

Downey, who plays Holmes offers a different twist to the venerated British sleuth. His partner, Watson, is played by Jude Law. Maillet plays the villain Dredger who takes on the famed detective in fight scenes.

The Sherlock Holmes played by Downey is a likeable and much more action-oriented characterization, said Maillet.

Just hope it didn't do any harm to that beautiful face hehe.

My Favorite Actors #2

JAMES DEAN
My most known username on the internet is ChesterDEAN, which I created obviously because of this man. I feel it's been forever since I started liking him but the truth is... I've only been a fan for a couple of years (like two and a half). One day I was at my favorite record store looking for new OLD movies to watch, since back then I was desperate for classics. And that's when I saw this guy with a red jacket and said "Rebel Without A Cause" I had to have it, so I bought it. Ever since that day I've been obsessed with him. You have no idea how much I adore this man, even though I don't get to talk that much about him since there's nothing really new to say, but I still like him like the first day.
Talent
He only needed three movies to prove the world that there wasn't going to be another James Dean. His first movie is my favorite one, East Of Eden in which he plays the role of Cal, a misunterstood kid that only wanted his father's attention but was always shadowed by his brother. He cries in this movie and that makes your heart shrink until it hurts. In his last movie Giant, his character grows older than he'd ever be and he played it right, you couldn't tell it was only a 24 year old with a little make up playing an old man. He improvised a lot, something the directors loved and that made the scenes more believable.
Physically
For me, this man was PERFECT. He had this dreamy-child like eyes that melts my heart, such an inoscent smile it makes you want to love him even more. Really really thin, that actually made him look small hehe. I don't know, he's just ADORABLE!!!. But he could also look sexy, there are some pictures of him that, gee, it takes your breath away hehe.
Personality
For what I've read and seen on different videos, he was a weirdo in a good way hehe. I personally love his quotes and all the interviews I've read. He reminds me a lot of myself, don't know why. I can't really describe his personality, I only know I love it and feel related to it.

JUDE LAW
I started liking Jude the very first moment I saw Alfie (even though I had seen AI first). He was soooo sexy on that movie I simply fell for him hehe. I don't think I have a special reason of why I liked him in the first place more than I thought he was hot. When I saw that movie I wasn't really picky on the movies I saw and the actors I liked. Back then I really liked chick flicks. But the point is, ever since Alfie I've seen lots of his movies (even though not all of them). The Holiday was extremely cute and had me sighing for months and watched three times in A DAY (yes, that much I liked it). I also liked his role in Wilde, he was an ass, but I think he did it right. Another movie I really liked was Cold Mountain but right now I can't really recall much of it since I saw it years ago and I don't have it yet. And I finally made my dream come true of seeing him in a movie with Michael Caine in Sleuth. Until now, Closer is my favorite movie.
Talent
Even though I haven't seen all of his movies and the ones I've seen haven't made me think "Oh his acting is brilliant" I still think he's a good actor, otherwise he wouldn't be where he's at, right?. I only know I've liked almost every movie I've seen of his.
Phisically
It's plain to see by now that I adoooore his face hehe, hi has this sexy look that can drive anybody crazy (specially if he smiles too). Too bad he's loosing his hair *cries* 'cause his hair in Alfie was simply PERFECT!!!. Actually, his looks in Alfie is my favorite ever, the clothes, the hair, everything, he simply looked perfect in Alfie.
Personality
I don't really know his real personality, since I don't really watch interviews of his or visit his fansites, let's say... he's one of the very few artists I only see in movies. I know I normally go crazy visiting fansites and knowing every single fact about my actors, but I never did that with Jude. Maybe I did in the early days but not anymore. But that doesn't make him any less special than the others, I still adooore him and would watch ALL of his movies if I could.

AL PACINO
This is another not so long obsession, but I freaking LOVE this man. I obviously knew about him while I was growing up and remember watching Scent of a Woman more times than I actually wanted (My mom was obsessed with the tango scene). But I fell in love with him like a year or two ago when I finally (and I mean FINALLY) saw Scarface. I couldn't stop saying "Say hello to my little friend" or "Stick it up your culo" for weeks hehe. I've seen lots of his movies (and still, there are like a billion I need to watch). After Scarface I remember watching Frankie & Johnny and I was really liking his pairing with Michelle Pfeiffer. Most of the movies I've seen of him, I saw them BEFORE my obsession but saw them again just because I wanted hehe. I've seen movies like Any Given Sunday, S1m0ne (just saw it again two days ago, I had already forgotten that movie), The Devil's Advocate, Carlito's Way, City Hall, Sea of Love, Insomnia, People I Know, The Recruit, Ocean's Thirteen, etc, etc. I even went to the theater to watch 88 Minutes and I can't wait to see him as Dali in Dali & I: The Surreal Story and I've waited for that movie waaaaay too long hehe. But if I got obsessed with Scarface, try to imagine how OBSESSED I got after The Godfather saga, gee, I even considere those movies as ones of my favorites now. Freaking Michael Corleone ROCKED!!!.
Talent
I mean, do I really have to say he is a freaking talented man? do I? just watch a movie... anyone you want, he always freaking rocks.
Physically
When he was young, like in The Godfather I, he was hot haha I personally loved his lips and literally everything of him, even the fact that he looks like a really short man haha. And even now that he's old, I still think he's an attractive old man (does that make me a weirdo? hehe).

The movie was awesome (or so I think 'cause I loved Gene Kelly once more) and ol' good Francis didn't let me down. They did a great team together, and loved their dancing scene. The movie is about two sailors, Joe Brady and Clarance Doolitle. Joe (Kelly) was known as the ladies man in the Navy, Clarance (Sinatra) was a shy little guy that wanted Joe to teach him how to treat women (and probably get him one). And let's say, while Joe is teaching Clarance they fall for the same girl.... and in the end, they both get what they want haha that's all I'm saying.

THE VOICE was awesome hehehe, Frankie is awesome, seriously... all his songs, specially there is this one scene in which he's singing a lullaby and awww just adorable. And of course, Gene and his dancing was awesome, I loved it. But something I adore from Gene Kelly, is his contagious smile, and how expressive his face actually is. He's simply CHARMING, that's the word that describes him best. The way he talk, the way he walk, the way he smile... just adorable!!!. Probably not a must see but you should see it anyway hehe.

Like two years ago, I was at my favorite record store looking for a new movie to buy. Back then I only wanted to see classics, so I saw Singing in the Rain and thought "Cool, I want to see it" right? so I took it in my hands and was decided to buy it, but then back in the shelf I saw a blonde guy giving his back to the camera and said in big words Rebel Without A Cause - JAMES DEAN and without a second thought I threw Singing in the Raing and picked Rebel instead.

I'm not complaining at all, thanks to that day I'm a James Dean fan now, BUT... I wish I hadn't taken so long to get back to Singing In The Rain. Just a couple of days ago, I finally saw it for rent, so I rented it and watched and I just got enchanted by GENE KELLY. It's awesome, everything of it is simply awesome... but I have to confess that my favorite scene is in which he sings the title's song. I obviously spent the whole movie thinking what a beautiful smile he had and how charming he looked... but it was until this scene that I finally said "Oh lord, I like him".

And I've been listening to that song obsessively since then (and the video too) so today I was on youtube and thought "Let's search for something different" so I just looked for Gene Kelly and watched some videos and I had this feeling of "I have to watch another movie". And I found An American in Paris for download, so I downloaded it. The only problem is that it was dubbed in Spanish and that sucked, 'cause a thing I loved so much about Gene was his speaking voice.

But I did like the movie anyway, the story was nice even though I didn't like the girl at all, I mean... she was a great dancer and was really pretty but her face looked dull the whole movie (except when she danced) and her dubbed voice didn't help her AT ALL. But that's not the end of it, I still want to watch MORE movies of Gene. I really really liked him as you can notice. I don't know what made him so special hehe 'cause he's not the kind of guy I'd like (at all) but I think it's because I love dancing and music and he did all those things.

Right now I'm downloading Anchors Aweigh of Gene Kelly and FRANK SINATRA, I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but I do really like Sinatra too, and I was just waiting for a chance to watch one of his movies, and now that time has come. And the fact that Gene is in the movie too, makes it way better. I've seen some bits on youtube and I'm sure I'm going to LOVE it.

So guys, if you're into classics, tap dancing, music, or simply good movies, I highly recommend Singing in the Rain and An American in Paris. I'll let you know about Anchors Aweigh as soon as I see it, but I'm sure it's cool too.

Across The Universe

Ok, I never thought I'd say this, but I liked it... I actually loved it. Who am I kidding? it's all because of Jim Sturgess hahaha I should quit my habit of liking movies 'cause of the leading actor, aight?. The movie didn't suck, that's the truth... I quite liked it, not my favorite but I did like it. I thought I was going to hate all the Beatles' covers but I actually didn't. I really liked Oh! Darling and ALL the songs sung by Jim hahaha. Specially Revolution and All You Need Is Love. If you like The Beatles, and hate covers... I swear you won't hate them, you might not like them but at least you won't hate them hehe.

What the movie's about? Well, it's all about the Vietnam war, hippies and the sixties. Centered in a relationship between Jude and Lucy. How Lucy is all passionate about the anti-war movements and how Jude didn't mind about it, 'cause he was... oh well, British hehe. It's a nice one, at least to pass the time. Oh and there are little Beatles' lyrics/quotes all along the movie, like when Jude says "She came in through the bathroom window". And all the names came from their songs, like Sadie, who happened to be sexy HAHA. I just loved everything related to the Beatles :D (and Jim who happened to look like me Paulie-love) PS: The pic in which Jim is singing with a microphone, is when he's singing All You Need Is Love, a parody of the Rooftop concert and the way he sang the song was BEAUTIFUL.

My Favorite Actors #1

Is well known that I'm a movie addicted and specially an actors addicted. I have too many favorite actors to count. But not many have lasted years (or will last years) that's why I'm going to make a list of why I love my favorite actors.

EWAN McGREGOR
Why do I like him? like him? I LOVE HIM!!!! I was only a teenager when I fell in love with this actor. I was excited to see Star Wars Episode I, 'cause since I was a kid, my brother and my Dad introduced me to those movies. But big was my surprise, that my favorite character (Obi-Wan Kenobi) was played by a Scotch gorgeous man. But I was far from being a fan. I liked him, yes... I watched the movie over and over again? yes. But I knew nothing about him or any of his movies.
I grew up, kept loving Obi but didn't know much about Ewan. I saw Black Hawk Down and was like "Look!!! It's Obi-Wan" haha. Then I saw Moulin Rouge and the rest is history. I fell in love with the movie and my love for Ewan grew so much I've been a fan for YEARS. He's actually, the actor I've liked longer.
Talent
There's no doubt that he's a talented guy. I personally loved him in Star Wars Episode III. But he has some pretty weird movies like The Pillow Book, I didn't understand a thing about that movie hehe, The Serpent's Kiss was pretty bizarre too. But in the end, it doesn't matter what kind of movies he makes, he's still good in them. Down With Love can always makes me laugh and Moulin Rouge steals my heart every time. He's also a hell of a GRRREAT singer.
Physically
Well, he is simply gorgeous. His eyes and smile are PERFECT. He's not the typical pretty face. He is more like a normal guy, he might be gorgeous in front of my eyes but can be seen as ugly in front of someone elese's eyes. He's not a "Brad Pitt" kind of gorgeous and that's what I like about him. His teeth are huuuuge and funny, but I love his smile. I love his beard and the colour of his hair. It some times looks darker than it is. And it doesn't matter which colour he dye his hair, it always looks good. I personally love his light brown hair (and long too).
Personality
He's down to earth and I love that. He's not a CELEBRITY and fame hasn't got to his head. And you can easily tell he doesn't mind about being trendy or cool, he dresses the way he likes it (sometimes I even wonder if he ever baths). He's also a family guy and I love when he mentions his kids and wife.

HEATH LEDGER
This is another actor that has a special place in my heart. And it doesn't matter if he's gone now... I'll always love him, his movies and his talent. This is another actor I've liked for YEARS. I remember the first time I saw 10 Things I Hate About You 8/9 years ago. He stole my heart in a second. And even though, 10 things is a total chick flick and can't be compared to the movies I like now, it's gonna always be one of my favorite movies just because I found out about this incredible actor thanks to it. I've seen lots of his movies and I can't wait for The Imaginarious of Dr. Parnassus. And it's just sad that he he passed away when he finally got a role that won everyone's respect and admiration. But for me, Heath's gonna always be more than just The Joker.
Talent
Everybody ignored this man and thought he was made just for chick flicks (when he only actually did ONE at the beginning of his career) he got a lot of bullshit for playing a Gay Cowboy. But no one really realized what a great actor he was until his death and until the Joker. If you want a proof that he was a great actor (aside for the world wide known Joker) watch Candy, that movie will break your heart. Or any of his movies, he's always been GREAT.
Physically
He had a child-like look on his eyes. It didn't matter his strong voice or tall body, he looked like a boy with those eyes. I loved his messy hair, specially when he had it longer, like in 10 Things or when he was making The Dark Knight movie. His nose is one of the biggest noses I've ever seen but it was well shapped and I loved it. Also, his lips were awwww yummilicious. And something I personally loved about his body, was his really wide back... he looked really big and tough sometimes. And he's one of the very few men I like with shaved/really short hair.
Personality
He wasn't a celebrity either and he never wanted to be one. He just loved acting and that's not a common thing on actors (and that made him even more special to me). What about his interviews? he never seemed to be an outgoing person, he was always shy and answered honestly and not what the press wanted to hear. Not a trendy guy either, I loved and adored his style, always unique and different. His beanies and unmatching scarves were the best (or his stripped socks).

ROBERT DOWNEY, Jr.
He's just the kind of man I'd like. A reputation of a bad boy, witty personality and a hell of a great and sarcastic humor. Just my kind of guy. I've known about him my whole life (kind of) I still remember the first time I saw Chaplin and how I loved the movie because I've always liked Chaplin. I was only a kid and that was YEARS ago. But it wasn't until I saw Kiss Kiss Bang Bang for the first time on April of 2008 that I fell in love with this man. Then I saw Iron Man and I became a fan with a blink of an eye. Ever since, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang became one of my favorite movies ever and I've watched it more times that I can count. I also made a research and now I know a lot of things about him, and the more I know, the more I like him. So he's now officially... one of my favorite actors.
Talent
He won a really bad reputation thanks to his old addictions and had problems getting hired for that. But with his come back with Iron Man he has proven everyone that he's better than ever. He IS talented, he might have got the chance to be where he is thanks to his famous family, but he IS talented and he IS a great actor. I've seen more movies of this actor than any other so I can judge his talent and he is AWESOME. I've seen a total of 21 of his movies, from the 70's to '08 and he never cease to amaze me. He can play any kind of character (but for some reason he keeps playing partying guys, or alcoholic guys or drug addicts). Fur, is an amazing movie... a bit bizarre but amazing, you can never see his face but his eyes are so freaking expressive that end up loving him too. In Kiss Kiss Bang Bang you can see his funny side. His character is really stupid that ended up being an actor and a detective, but you can't stop laughing. But there's this bit where he's all messed up and starts to cry that touches your heart. And that's when I say "He's a good actor". Less Than Zero is a great movie from the 80's. There he proves he's been talented since the beginning. He's just awesome.
Physically
What can I say? he's simply PERFECT. But I've let everyone know that the first thing about him that caught my attention was..... HIS LIPS!!! They're perfect and gorgous. They have the perfect shape, they aren't too thin or too fat, they're just perfect. He also has one of the most beautiful smiles I've ever seen (and wide too hehe). Then, his eyes... they're so freaking expressive I love them and they're so big and cute, they're like puppy eyes. Oh and his hair, he can do whatever he wants with his hair and still look fantastic. Also, his facial hair is amazing, he can have a goaty and still look cool... he can freakin' have a Sgt. Pepper-like mustache and still look gorgeous.
Personality
Oh man, but what I love the most about this man is his personality. He became in my favorite actor in interviews since the very first interview I saw him in. Seriously, he's so sarcastic is amazing. He's also a divo, and he'd say "I'm perfect and you know it" and still get away with it. I don't normally like actors that think they're the best shit in the world, but I can make an exception with Robert 'cause he IS the best shit in the world hehe. He is so funny and witty, I can't keep myself from laughing like crazy when I'm watching his interviews, he has a funny answer for everything. And a thing I love about him, is that he can make fun of himself and still look cool. He is not ashamed to admit he've done mistakes in the past, he makes fun of them because he's through with them, they're in the past now. He's simly AWESOME.

Less Than Zero

Ok, it looks like I've been neglecting this blog lately. Life's been crazy I guess. Anyway... today I finally had the chance to watch Less Than Zero, that for some reason it became an obsession for me to watch it and now that I did.... I can't complain. I loved it. Not only because I love Robert Downey, Jr. to death but because his acting was awesome. The story is all about three friends that have known each other all of their lives. Julian, Clay and Blair. Julian is RDJ's character... he doesn't go to college after high school and tries to get his own business but he can't really control his addictions. Blair stays at home too because she wants to be a model. Clay is the only one that leaves LA to go to college. When he comes back home for the holidays, everything's changed.... and not precisely for good. It shows you the life of kids in the 80's. Drugs, sex and death... no censure or sugar coat.

Robert Downey, Jr. keeps amazing me. His acting was as good back then as it is now. Seriously, that man is a genius, his eyes are so expressive you totally believe his pain (I did anyway). If you haven't seen it yet, I recommend you to watch it, you won't regret it.

Twilight & New Moon

In 6 days I read two books, Twilight and New Moon. I personally liked them because I pictured Robert Pattinson as Edward the whole time and because I'm a die hard romantic... but other than that, I wouldn't probably care about these books. They're for teen readers anyway.

In the first book you're introduced to Bella Swan, a troubles magnet, and the most whining and annoying girl EVER. Also you meet the Cullens, a peculiar family of... Vampires. Edward Cullen is the hero and the main male character whom for some strange reason falls for Bella. These are the kind of Vampires that can go around in the morning light without having a horrible death (first weird thing). The story is mainly about love, very easy to read with very easy words. The book sounds like a very long fan fiction so Stephenie Meyer should work on her writing if she wants to ever have a serious book.

New Moon shows the consequences of being in love with a Vampire. But Bella can't just stay away from troubles, so she now finds another mythical monster to hang around with, also, a mean Vampire threatens her and puts her whole family and friends in danger... AGAIN. But our lovely Edward is always there to save the day.... kind of a SuperVampire.

And even though these books are really simple, I do quite like the story... and picturing Robert Pattinson while reading makes it quite better. So, yes... I'm going to read the rest of the books.

Linkin Park won Best Rock Video

I watched the whole show just because Linkin Park was nominated. When I saw that Slash presented the award I immediately knew Linkin Park HAD to win (he's a friend of Chester). I was actually shouting to the TV "C'mon, say Linkin Park.... Chester's your friend" haha and when he said "And the winner is..." and opened the envelop he laughed so I KNEW THEY HAD WON.... so he kept going between giggles "... LINKIN PARK!" hahaha loved it, and now I love Slash for that :D he made it cute ^^. I don't know, I thought it was kinda cute how he laughed, I bet every Linkin Park fan out there just knew he was going to say Linkin Park when he laughed hehe other people might have just thought he was making fun of them, but na-ah... he's Chester's friend ^^.

Ever since The Dark Knight, I fell for Aaron Eckhart... the funny thing was, that I was in the movie's queue seriously thinking that I was going to focus only on the Joker or that my crush for Chris Bale would just grow (it did heh) but big was my surprise when I found myself sighing for Harvey Dent, how could I resist him?... HE WAS ADORABLE!. His smile... gorgeous, that blond hair? SEXY, eyes? adorable and the way he stands with his hands on his waist... to die for!... just fell for him haha. Before the movie, I spent weeks with the line "Why so serious?" on my msn, but AFTER the movie I've been having "I believe in Harvey Dent" instead... and today I was surfing channels and tadah, The Pledge was on... his hair wasn't as long as in TDK, but he was still sexy, his mustache wasn't that attractive either, but his lips and his eyes were still GORGEOUS haha. And the movie was great... Jack Nicholson is awesome. I remember I wanted to see No Reservations when it was still on the theater but never got a chance, and now I'M DESPERATE to watch it haha... I don't care if it's another corny movie, that man stole my heart hahaha (ok, not as strongly as Robert Downey Jr. did but I seriously want to see more of his movies mwahaha)

So I'm really a brand new fan of Iron Man so I don't have that many things of him, but I have a lot for the time I've been a fan, so here some pictures. (It's not EVERYTHING I have but most of it)

That's the cartoon movie of "The Invincible Iron Man" which is really cool too. The action figure is from Burger King haha 'cause like a baby I had to buy it. I also have a huge movie poster of the cartoon movie (same picture and text as the cover, but huge)

This are my school notebook's for this new semester haha. They're actually four notebooks but didn't take a picture of all of them. Every one of them comes with stickers and a poster :D I didn't take a picture of the posters though.

That's a huuuuge magazine with really cool posters that my Dad gave me as a part of my birthday present. Isn't it lovely? (and HUUUUGE)

There's this Mexican Magazine called "Premiere" and its last cover was of The Joker so I obviously bought it. It also has a part for Harvey Dent but didn't take a picture of that haha I haven't seen the movie when I took the pictures, so I didn't like Harvey as I like him now. Robert Downey Jr. is in final negotiations to star as the title character in "Sherlock Holmes," a reimagining of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's titular super sleuth that Guy Ritchie is directing for Warner Bros.

The movie, which will shoot in the fall, takes its cue from a forthcoming comic book that producer Lionel Wigram wrote as a selling tool for a new take on the classic character. The concept sees Holmes as more adventurous and less stuffy than previous screen incarnations and mines more obscure character traits.

The movie will be Downey's first to go before cameras since the success of the actor's "Iron Man." Downey's first move post-"Iron Man" was attaching himself to star in DreamWorks' "Cowboys and Aliens."

I saw this movie last night, and let me tell you is the sweetest movie ever. I loved it. Wall-E is a robot built to clean the earth while the humans are out in a cruise. But after 700 years, Wall-E wants a friend, and he meets Eve, and does everything he can not to loose her. Really touching, really sweet and really funny. I'd highly recommend it to you.

I don't know you, but I personally loved this movie. The only thing I think it needed, was background music, something more exciting would have helped the fight scenes quite a lot. I think this one is quite better than the other one (and I never really watched the other one hehe). Also, Edward Norton as Bruce? Just BRILLIANT, that man can literally play any character. And the Hulk was waaaay better than the other one. I'd highly recommend this movie.

This was one of the most energetic shows I've ever been in. I've always liked this band but not in an obsessive way, but they're really good and really talented. Their show lasted for more than two hours, and I spent it jumping, singing, screaming, dancing.... it was GREAT. I can't say this is the best show I've seen 'cause since The Doors, nothing will ever be better (until I see Paul McCartney live) but this is seriously one of the most amazing shows I've seen. And the silliest thing is that I loved the lighting haha. If you've never heard their music, I totally recommend it.

Well, I personally loved this movie, but how can you judge a biographical movie? it's like "Oh your life sucked" so, I can't say if it's interesting or not, at least it was interesting for me 'cause I actually like Charlie Chaplin's work and movies. Robert Downey Jr.'s acting was amazing and I don't think there'd be a better Chaplin. I think everything was great, the cast, the acting, the clothes, everything. The movie talks a little about Charlie's childhood, family, his bunch of girlfriends and how they changed his life. If you like Chaplin I'm sure you'd enjoy this movie.

So thanks to this video I'm getting obsessed with Velvet Revolver, I've always liked them but right now I can't stop listening to them. And one funny thing is that Scott reminds me a lot of Chester Bennington in this video. Chester idolize this man so much now I know why Chester moves the way he does on his videos and on stage haha. So I was surfing through Downey Unlimited and found this.... THE BEST NEW EVER!:

It's not a 100 percent done deal, but sources say Hefner has signed off on Downey to play him in the movie, with the working title "Playboy."

He took a liking to the actor after seeing "Iron Man" and admiring his humor and skill in showing his vulnerability.

Chicago is expected to be used for the shooting of scenes focusing on the early years of Playboy magazine. A Chicago native, Hefner grew up in Galewood and launched Playboy here before moving the California.

No word yet on when the cameras actually will begin rolling, but it could happen as soon as next summer -- depending on Downey's "Iron Man 2" filming and the finalization of the Hefner script. [More]

Why am I so excited about it if I'm not a boy and I certainly don't like Playboy magazine itself?. Well, simply because I ADORE Hugh Hefner. Even if he's old he is still adorable and cute and he knows how to treat a lady... he's just too cute. Anyway, I like party-bad-boyish-kind-of-guys, and Hef was a PLAYBOY, so Robert playing Hef means Robert will be a party boy ON SCREEN (we all know Downey's past) I just hope this is true and that Robert will work on this project... So I watched Under The Same Moon last night and I quite liked it, and it's something that really surprised me 'cause I'm not really fond of Mexican movies (and I'm Mexican, who would have thought?). It has some cheesy parts but the rest of it is really emotional. The kid is adorable and you can't help but worry about him and all the shit he goes through. Also, it's about a real thing, about people trying to go to the states to work and stuff. I don't want to dig the subject, but sometimes I wonder why it's so hard for Mexicans to go there when almost all my grandparent's neighbours are American?. Anyway, about the movie... it's really touching and it's about a kid that crosses the border to see his mom again after four years of being apart (his 9 btw). He goes through a lot of shit but gets to go to LA. It's really a beautiful movie about what'd you do for your mom or son. Have I mentioned the kid is ADORABLE? it broke my heart every time he cried *sniff*. Oh, if you're Californian and actually voted for Schwatchgskfnsjkf (however the fuck his AUSTRIAN name is spelled) don't watch it, we make fun of him teehe ok it says "He's just another immigrant that comes from farer away" truth!. Sorry, I swore I'd never EVER talk about politics 'cause it always ends up badly.... now I'm off but... I'll be back (hahaha sorry I can't stop). Watch the movie if you please, it's a good one :).

FANatic - Elvis Presley

Ok now it's time for my Elvis Presley collection which isn't much because I've only been a fan for a year and a half. I think this isn't everything, I have a big poster and 2 DVD's I haven't taken a picture of, but it's almost everything I have of Elvis.

The first really fancy thing I got of Elvis is this lunch box that my mom bought for me. That's when I realized I was obsessed, 'cause my mom won't ever buy anything she knows I'm not obsessed with, so this is when I realized I was *lol*.

This is a lighter I bought. I loved it, I've never used it because is for my collection and I don't want to scartch it or anything, so it's still in its box *lol*. Isn't it beautiful?

If you look closely, you can see a poster and my wall clock. The wall clock was a present from some friends for my 22nd birthday. I loved it.

This is like the best present I could ever get. It's a dancing and singing tellephone, I love receiving calls since I got it (it was a present from my mom) he dances and sings "Hound Dog" it's BEAUTIFUL. I even love the box (which is huuuge) and it's from the 68' Come Back special (which I also have it on DVD).

This is my "The Elvis Medley" vynil album. I got it for a very good price and it's in a good shape. I fell in love with it :D.

This is a magazine I got which has a long article about Elvis and some pin ups :D.

I love this post card, 'cause it was my christmas present from my best friend Benjamin. That's why I love my friends, they understand my fandoms *lol*.

And finally the movies I have, they're Love Me Tender, Flaming Star and Wild In The Country. My favorite is Love Me Tender, he's sooo cute but I also loved Wild In The Country in which he is a ladies man and he also sings I slipped, I Stumbled, I Fell in it and I love that song *lol*.

Scott Weiland is no longer part of Velvet Revolver

I've just heard this and thought it sucks... BUT the article I read (which I can't post here because it was in Spanish) it said one of the reasons why they kicked Scott out of the band was because he was planning a new tour (or reunion, can't recall) with Stone Temple Pilots. And if you ask me to choose between VR and STP, HECK I'd choose Stone Temple Pilots... so in a way I'm glad he's not part of VR anymore. But that means there will be less of Scotty for me to listen to. Anyway, STP will make a show in Canada on July (along with Linkin Park) so I'm happy. And that's it.

Trainspotting

So I finally bought Trainspotting (I was wondering why I had never seen it before if Ewan McGregor is my favorite actor). A lot of my friends had told me this movie was great and stuff, but I think they only liked it because they were a bunch of junkies too. But the movie isn't that bad but it isn't THAT GOOD either. It's nice, I liked it and I enjoyed watching it. My brother had told me it was like Requiem for a Dream (which I hated) so I was hesitant on buying it, but I gave in and I liked it, it's NOTHING like Requiem, the other one was quite BORING and this one even makes you laugh.

The movie is about a group of friends that most of them are junkies (and one that wasn't ends up being one). It talks about death and all those consequences of being a junkie. Another one that shows you what Cold Turkey must be like and all the things they do to get a hit. I think is a good movie, probably not a MUST SEEN but is a good one after all.

I haven't updated in like forever, and I've seen, read and done a lot of things related to my fandoms, so here I'll make a quite long update about them.

Firstly the night I will always remember, February 23, 2008. The Doors concert in Merida Yucatán, Mexico. It was the best concert ever, the place was kind of small so even in the middle of the place you could perfectly see them. I sang my lungs out and danced until my feet hurt. A GREAT night!.

I still can't believe I was there seeing Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger live... it was awesome and the best show I've ever seen in my entire life.

The Godfather I & II
I've been watching The Godfather movies and they're awesome. My DVD player is kinda of crappy so I haven't had the chance to finish watching the third movie but for what I saw.... it rocked.

First of all, the movies had great actors such as Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, Robert De Niro, just to name a few.

I guess everybody have already seen these movies (I still can't believe that I didn't) so there's no point of me telling you what they're about. But man, I loved them and I can't wait to have the chance to finish watching the third one. Gah, Andy Garcia was super hot *lol*.

I loved the fact that it took them decades to actually make the third movie and they show a grown Michael Corleone and how the years had changed him and his empire. It was just perfectly planned. I have no words to explain how much I loved this movie, seriously.

Candy

I wanted to watch this movie since the moment I found out it existed. What is all about? Candy and Dan are a couple that love each other very much but they're addicted to heroin and the movie shows you how their lives deteriorates with time.

There's prostitution, explicit drug use and many other real life problems for a young and derailed relationship. How they try to leave behind their addiction and the consequences of their decisions.

It's a very real movie and that's what I loved about it. It shows you how it must be like to go through Cold Turkey and how hard it is to deal with such an addiction. And the final thing I loved is the things you have to sacrifice for your loved one, like... let it go. *sigh* Loved it.

I really recommend this movie. Dudley Moore and Liza Minelli are my new OTP hehe. The movie's about a rich man that has never taken care of anyone, not even of himself. He's also have a huge problem with his drinking. Anyway, his family wants him to marry this rich girl for him to keep his fortune. But he fell in love with Linda (Liza), who's a poor girl and he is willing to give up his money for love. This movie will make you laugh, cry, sigh and smile once more. It will show you how Arthur grows up and becomes a man. This is a must-seen for me.

I always say that the most powerful superhero would be Superman's strength and powers with Batman's brain, who can destroy a bleedin' genius made of steel? NO ONE!! hehehe.... seriously, I can't wait for The Dark Knight.

FANatic - Linkin Park

I guess now's the time to finally make my FANatic about Linkin Park... I don't have many things because they're kinda hard to find here, but I have some that I love quite terribly. It's not everything I have, but it's a good example :D

The very famous Linkin Park wall/door... In my door I have some posters, pictures and signs that says things like "We love you Chester" funny thing, it wasn't for Chester Bennington, it was actually for me, one day I was playing to be a RockStar in high school and my best friend did the signs (and I too) and took pictures of me on a little stage with my friends holding the signs, it was pretty cool. On the wall is my blanket, my 2004, 2005 and 2006 calendar and even more posters.

Superman Doomsday (SPOILERS)

I watched Superman Doomsday for the first time yesterday (I say first time because I know I'll watch it again, over and over again :D). Seriously AMAZING, I looked like this the whole movie: O___O. Couldn't even blink.

What I didn't really like was the fact that he barely fought with Doomsday, it was like boom, bam, punch, DEATH! WTF?.... and one thing I thought... "Muscles... use your brain", Doomsday didn't fly, why did he had to get out of the atmosphere to then crash down on earth again, why didn't he leave Doomsday on a desert planet? duh!.

On the corny side, I loved all the scenes with Lois (hey... I'm a girl, I have to love the corny things). Specially, at the end where they are in Lois' apartment and she's writing and his coming out of the shower.

Superman: [reading Lois' latest article] There's only one "S" in resurrect.
Lois Lane: I didn't know editing was one of your super powers.
Superman: Well, no, but I was spelling bee champ of Smallville Elementary.

Jude Law Is a Younger Michael Caine

In what is Michael Caine's second go at the thriller genre, he and Jude Law will both star in the remake of the popular 1972 'Sleuth', under the direction of British actor and filmmaker
Kenneth Branagh. The original movie featured Laurence Olivier as the novelist who sees his wife falling in love with a much younger man (Caine) and concocts a devilish plan of cat and mouse.

In the renewed version, Caine will take on Olivier's part, while Law will play the young and charming hairdresser. Anthony Shaffer's play will be adapted for the big screen by the English playwright Harold Pinter.

The Castle Rock production will try to bring back and to revive the atmosphere predominant in the original, while also putting in new elements to the thriller. Production will begin in January at Twickenham Studios in London, and Jude Law will also be one of the producers for it, via his Riff Raff Prods. company.

This would be the second time that the blue-eyed actor takes on a role previously played by Michael Caine. He also starred in the 2004 remake of Caine's 1966 'Alfie'.

This is just like TOO awesome, I heard Jude Law was going to do Sleuth long ago, but I didn't know Michael Caine was going to be in the movie too, but what I can't believe is that actually my brother told me about it, we were having dinner tonight when I told my mom that I was watching Bewitched and was drooling over a very old Caine *lol* and then my brother said "He's going to make a movie with Jude Law, two Alfies in one movie" oh god, my first comment "I've just peed my pants" HAHAHA. Seriously, I own both Aflie's movies, I just love them, even though I watched the Jude's version first, I liked Caine's better, don't know... I blame his accent, it's just too sexy. Actually, when I was watching Bewitched, what made me have a giggle fest was the fact that Michael said "Hello, there" with that sexy British accent. I just love it.

Anyroad, now I can't wait for the movie, I really really really want to watch it, Jude's one of my all time favorites actors, and I just fell really hard for Caine since I watched Alfie, seriously, the man is too sexy. I still need to watch more of his old movies 'cause I've only watched Miss Congeniality, Batman, Bewitched and stuff like that hahaha (And Alfie of course) so I need to find more of his movies :D. Now, I'll wait patiently until I can find pictures of those men together *smiles* exciting.

Awww it's beautiful :) I loved it, I've already seen the first two movies, I can't wait to watch the other two. YAY! I'm happy I finally got my so waited boxset, I got it like two weeks ago (or a week?, I think a week ago xD). I just loved it, now I have 5 movies of Superman :).

Now that I've been watching this movies, I realized Brandon Routh was the best choice for the role on the new ones, seriously, there are bits in the ol' movies when I feel like seeing Brandon instead of Christopher hehe. Awww but those blue eyes melt my heart, Chris was gorgeous, no doubt about it :D.

Yesterday was Chayanne's concert here where I live, he's a Puerto Rican singer, you might know him from Dance With Me from 1998. Back then, I had this childish crush for him it was kinda cute now that I remember it haha. Anyway, I know some of his songs and all that jazz, but don't really liked him now that I'm older, BUT, my mom loves him quite terribly, specially because he dances (my mom is obsessed with dancing, dancers and choreographies) so she dragged me to the concert with her, I thought "Sure, why not?".

Well, the concert was really great, the stage was cool, his songs are cool too and the way he chose his songs list was great, 'cause he sang a slow one and then all of a sudden he started dancing and boom!! a fast song, seriously, I never thought I'd say this, but I loved the show.

He's quite a sugar too, so there was this moment that you could see on the screens his silhouette taking off his belt, and then like unbuttoning his trousers, JEEZ, too sexy haha and then he teased us (the girls) by unbuttoning his shirt and buttoning it back, what a sexy teaser xD.

He has some really beautiful love songs too, as soon as I got back home I got on my computer just to download like 15 songs, after all, I only had like two xD. A really nice show, I enjoyed every minute of it, I even screamed like a maniac, I was with my mom, two cousins and an auntie, so we were all going mad, really nice... loved it!.

Being a Beatles fan

I'm not a fan since I learned to walk like pretty big number of people out there, but I've loved their music since I can remember. I called myself a fan for the very first time at the age of 18 in 2003. Even if I liked them, I never dared to call myself a fan 'cause I barely recognized who sang what, so it was until I knew a little bit more that I called myself a fan, BUT, I liked them mostly because of the music, so it wasn't until 2005 that I got hooked by their lives and stories, that's when I started to research more about them and learn things I totally ignored. (I learn new things every day, seriously).

Anyway, at first, it wasn't easy... I was known as a rocker (even though, I totally hate labels) a rebel, the weird girl that always wore black xD. And the kind of music I listened to is completely different to the Beatles' music (Linkin Park, Slipknot, Korn, Mudvayne, Kitty, etc, I still listen to them anyway haha). But there was these people that thought they were Music Elitist when they're not, anyway, there was always this stupid comment round my head for years "You don't deserve them, forget about them and stick with Linkin Park" firstly, they were literally telling me Linkin Park was a bad band, suckers, what do they know? but as I was saying, it really bothered me those kind of comments, eventually, after The Beatles, I started to listen to bands/artists like Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, The Who, Pink Floyd, etc (Not as much as The Beatles of course) so then a friend told me "Oh, you're learning, now you kind of deserve 'em" ¬¬' who would have thought that now he comes to me to ask me about The Beatles, HA!.

There's also these old people that just can't believe one can be a Beatles' fan and they're always asking you stupid questions to prove that you really are, funny thing is that I always end up knowing more than them too, again, HA!. The questions goes for "Who was the first Beatles' drummer?" "Pete Best" "Are you sure?" "Yes, he was the son of the owner of the Casbah and played the drums, the guys needed a drummer so they asked Pete, but kicked him out because Ringo was better, BTW Ringo was in a band called Rory Storm & The Hurricanes, Stu was The Beatles' first bassist but died and Paul took his place, need more?" and they feel really stupid afterwards xD. They should never doubt a fan knowledge, they could have lived it, but we have INTERNET hahaha.

But on the wonderful side of being a Beatles' fan is that their music is awesome, they were four real human beings, with flaws and such, they smoke, they cursed, they were/are also really really funny and witty. They were original, controversial and honest. They did what they wanted, they said what they wanted, they acted how they wanted (ok, at least after they got rid of the clean boys image).

There are also like a billion of other devoted fans like me, which whom are AWESOME too, I've met so many wonderful people through this fandom it makes me love 'em even more (yes, that's possible). We (the fans) are crazy and live Beatlemania 40 years later not caring if we scare people away. It's just awesome being a fan.

The guys are also so normal you kind of feel like you do REALLY know them, back then, they were so exposed to the press their personal lives are known all around the globe, so their mistakes as their success are well known by the fans. Yes, it sucks that they were treated like things or possessions, but thanks to that we feel a bit more related to them in a deeper way. Like me with Linkin Park, I love 'em, yes I do, but I only know little things about them, I don't really know them, but with The Beatles, I feel like I do (and I know I'm not the only one). Actually, over the communities, we have such talks it sounds like we have psychoanalyzed them one by one until we get to understand what they acted that way, and to be quite honest, lots of people seems to be right.

Also, to make it even funnier, we have the music, yes, but we also have a lot of funny footage like Piramus and Thisbe and other great interviews like "Ready Steady Go" in which the girl asked Paul if it's true that he sleeps with his eyes open and he answered something like "Well, I haven't actually seen me sleeping" HAHAHA, or the Anthologies, but better yet, their movies, they're hilarious, witty and some times also very sentimental, intriguing, and sad (Let it Be). Or kinda weird like Magical Mystery Tour. As a Beatles fan you have something sure, you'll never get bored, not of their music, not of their movies, they're simply AWESOME!.

Being a Beatles' fan is something you'll never ever regret.

Ok, right now I'm just really really pissed and really really jealous, but not for a stupid reason like "Omg, I wanted him single for meeey" nope, but because he had been through so many awful things I think he had have enough, and girls and love can only bring him one thing right now -- pain. I don't want that for me Paulie, nope, no more of that.

First picture, Rosanna Arquette, there's this article about them going out that just pisses me off, not because I hate her 'cause I don't (I actually love her character in What About Brian) but because I thought that after Heather he'd have done with girls (he said it, not me) so why the bloody hell is he dating again?. AND not one, but TWO women at the same time. Just like two weeks ago I was reading (and seeing) about him kissing with Nancy Shevell (the brunette). At first I thought "Finally a brunette after so many blondes" haha, but c'mon!!! he isn't even divorced yet, why is he already dating?.

Maybe it's because I love Linda way too much and no other girl will be compared to her (not even close) but c'mon, love isn't all you need Paul, go and screw around but please don't come up with the "Oh jeez, I'm so in love I'll marry this girl, we're in love, love love love" fuck it, just DON'T FALL IN LOVE. I mean, he's very known for being a womenizer, he was known for being the one that fucked half of the female population in Great Britain, why can't be the same ol' Paulie that used to have like a billion of girls in his BED not his heart, why? WHYYYY? hehehe.

Anyway, I might be just rushing things, maybe he's just screwing around *lol* but I'm just paranoid of him getting married with another gold digging bitch. I just can't stand the idea of him being sad, seriously, look at young Paul, he was so bright and happy, look at him after Linda died, it's heartbreaking, but he moved on, and what happened? he got married with Satan's daughter!!! I just want him to be happy, I wish he was able to be happy by himself, not because a bloody bird is by his side, but I guess life isn't that fair, aight?.

I've just heard Chester Bennington had another accident (he broke his wrist not long ago) now he hit his upper lip playing tennis... with his own racket ¬¬'. It was before his show in Singapore, he had six stitches. Awww my poor little baby, he's always having accidents (or getting sick) or he just hates me and likes to have me all worried over him *lol*. These past few days I've been really obsessed with Paul McCartney's "Off The Ground" album, it's just too awesome, it has two of my favorite songs "Mistress and Maid" and "The Lovers That Never Were". But right now I'm getting obsessed with Off The Ground, C'mon People, Biker Like An Icon and I Owe It All To You and.... ok, the whole album is awesome.

Well, actually, I've been obsessed with Paul's solo music these past few days (I've always been, but I've been ONLY listening to Paul these past three days *lol*) his voice is amazing, it's really touching, and there are times that I can't stop listening to him, it makes me want to shout how much I love him hehehe gosh his voice is one of a kind... seriously, it makes me feel like a billion different feelings, he's just too awesome :D.

Fanatic - Superman

This is my collection of the things I have of Superman, they're not all, but they're enough for a post.

1) It's a box from my little cousin's birthday, it was only for boys (she's a girl) and even if I'm not a boy, they had to give me the boy's box because I'm obsessed with Superman hehe (it had candies in it) 2) The box also had a balloon, and this is it.

Finally a new layout is up :D this one is dedicated to Superman, hope you like it.

Today I wanted to go and rent all the old Superman movies, but they weren't there anymore ¬¬'. I've been wanting to rent them for a looong time now 'cause I can barely remember them, but now they're not there anymore. It sucks.

I really want to see Chris Reeve's movies, I found some pictures of him today (as Superman, of course) and now I can't wait to see the movies, no matter how much I love Brandon Routh, Chris Reeve's gonna always be SUPERMAN.

Good news? Superman Returns is going to be aired in HBO Plus (mexico)... RIGHT NOW!!! I own the movie, but I'll watch it anyway.

I've just found out Brandon Routh's going to be on another movie called Lie To Me. If you don't know me, well... I'm a hyper fan of Superman, soooo I love Brandon Routh xD (omg, just LOOK AT HIM *drools*) anyway, I found out today... this is what the movie's about:

I can't wait to see it... I know I'll miss the blue eyes xD but brown eyed Brandon is still very veeery hot (duh, he's naturally brown eyed xD). Seriously guys, I have this huuuge obsession with Superman/Brandon (specially the Superman image/logo) my bed is all Superman (even the pillows), I have lighters, boxes, posters, a necklace, even a small t-shirt with Brandon as Superman (even though I don't have kids or little brothers to wear it)... OBSESSED!. And it'll be pretty nice to see him on another character, to see him more than just "Superman".

House MD

I got House MD's three seasons for my mom's birthday (she loves the show and made me love it as well). And it was like a present for both of us, 'cause I can't deny I'm obsessed with this show hehe. Because of my lack of free time I'm not able to watch it that constantly, so I've missed lots of episodes, so right now I'm catching up with the DVD's, veeery very slowly but I'm catching up. Hugh Laurie's the BEST!!!. Seriously, (even without his lovely British accent and lack of hair) House's character fits him perfectly, actually, I'd have never found him "attractive" if it wasn't for this show, I've seen some of his movies before and he was just another actor xD but after House MD, wow... I'm always drooling for him *lol*.

Of course I also love Wilson haha, he's the cutest thing ever, his puppy eyes and childish smile makes me go "Awww". I love this show quite terribly. And feel kinda bad, 'cause I realized I have a thing for Doctors shows xD I started with ER, House and then Gray's Anatomy xD. But right now I'm not really into ER as before when it used to be my favorite show EVER.... well, I still watch the re-runs and they keep my attention way more than the new ones (of course, without Carter it's not the same xD). Anyway, just wanted to talk about House 'cause I've just finished watching the DNR episode xD.
